    ORA-01110: data file 20: '<datafile>'

    543480
      hi,

i'm using oracle 9.0.7 in IBM AIX5.2 platform..
i'd got the followings error in my application.
i've tried to use DBV to check for any corruption on the specified file, but yet to found out no CORRUPTION on that file.
And this problem NOT occurs all the time.. On the same "sql select statement", but sometime it will hit this error & sometime is not..

Anyone know what's the root cause of this problem??

This looks like a AIX or hardware problem on the disk used by the file system storing the the datafile. You should use AIX errpt command to check what AIX system log says about that.

I'm not an AIX administrator but yes this looks like a hardware problem that you should try to fix as soon as possible.
