Is not very recomended use ADF Faces in Netbeans. In this case you have to use the Trinidad Components(ADF Faces Donation) that is the API donate from ORACLE to the Apache Software Foundation.

If you use Netbeans i recommend that uses JSF and not ADF Faces.

It is the Gantt component that I need, but I cant not find that Trinidad has this component. Any chance that they will get this component from ADF faces?

User,

Gannt chart is not part of ADF Faces, but ADF Faces RC. That component set is going to be donated to Apache as well, but it's not at the same stage as Trinidad (fka ADF Faces).

Hope this helps,

John
Just as a general comment, ADF Faces is a standard component set and will work with Netbeansas as well. However, as mentioned in the other answers, Gantt charts is part of ADF Faces RC (its the data visualization component DVT providing this chart type)

I realize the plan all along was to donate RC ADF to Apache as a evolution of the current Trinidad - when might that happen?

And lastly, would the DVT components (graph, gauge, gantt) be included in the RC donation?

Thanks in advance,

Shawn Bertrand
