    FDQM automation

Is there a way to automate the loads into FDQM based on an event, for instance a file being created? Please advise.

You can definately do that with some custom scripts.

You can create a loop which will only exit upon the cration of the file.

enable Batch Processing, but wrap it in FileWatch

I am very interesterested in knowing the answer to this question as well.

So, we have to enable batch processing and make custom scripts. Could anyone explain a bit more please? Thanks.

                  Hello,

Batch Processing in a generic form is covered in the FDM Administrators guide. It will outline how to create a simple script using the Workbench GUI. Of course, this is all apart of if you have the ability(contact sales) to use the BatchLoader.

In retrospect with everything related to FDM, more advanced scripting/customizations can be done. This includes adding more scripting to the generic batch-script to have it do additional functions if needed.

                  Thank you.

We ended up using all custom scripts and running them with Control-M to get us from extracting data from the GL, all the way through Consolidation in HFM.
