How to delete an entity in Oracle Data Profiler

I am new to Oracle Data Profiler and created some "test" entities that I no longer need. But I do not see anyway to delete them.

Also, I do not see a way to "refresh" the entity with new data. When I created it, I saw a context sensitive menu option to Load data. But, now it is dsiabled.

I don't see any of this information in documentation. Perhaps someone can point me to better documentation?

Thanks!!

I've tried running the code posted here and found in the user documentation but keep getting the following error:

Oracle DQ Metabase Administration Tool (spf13_8315)
Copyright (C) 2007, Oracle or its licensors
    login: admin
    password: *****
    Select metabase from "_control enterprise".
    metabase: enterprise
    enterprise: delete entity entity_id 3
Key "{}" does not exist in "entity"
    Argument "delete entity {{}} {}"
    enterprise:

Where can I check to ensure I have the right id for the entity?

    Thanks

Now sorted for me. Options to delete are as follows:

    1. From the comand line...

There are 2 ways, first the way - ENTITY_ID must be in uppercase.

    enterprise: delete entity ENTITY_ID 3

It has been noted that it is wrong in the documentation and will be updated in the next release.

The second way is to just type, delete entity then press enter. The metabase manager will then prompt for the entity number.

    example:

    TSS Metabase Administration Tool (spf13_9013)
Copyright (C) 2005-8 Trillium Software, a division of Harte-Hanks. All rights re
    served.
    login: madmin
    password: ****
    Select metabase from "_control main01".
    metabase: main01
    main01: delete entity
    ENTITY_ID>

    2. From the UI.....

Double click on the entities tab, and in the right panel that comes up, select the entity, right click, choose delete.

    Hope this helps.
