I installed OBI Applications and now I am trying to install Informatica.
I am following the steps from the manual. First I installed the client and the SP4 for the client, now I am installing the Server and when I try to create the domain for Power Center, it gimes me an error. I had created the BDs as specified. This in particular is a SQL DB, the test connection is ok..when I click on the next button to create the domain, I receive this error message:
“The installer could not create the domain. Correct the error below and select Retry. You must successfully create the domain to continue tie installation.
STDERR: infasetup.bat is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
thank you for your answer. But, I am using an SQL DB, in the documentation only says to use the NSL_LANGUAGE if you are using an ORACLE DB.
In addition, on the documentation also says to set the NSL_LANGUAGE system environment with the same value as the oracle DB has....
should I change this value even thou I am using an SQL DB?
This is related to an Informatica and Windows security setting.
Here is what I found in the Informatica Knowledgebase:
In PowerCenter 8.1.0, when installing Server onWindows 2000, the following error is displayed:
Error: 'infasetup.bat' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.ExitCode: 1
