Not showing 'Connection Configuration' screen

Hi,
I tried to install the oracle calendar client on Ubuntu Linux. All looks fine, however, when I am setting up a new connection and I click the 'lookup' button in the 'Connection Editor' I do not get a screen.

I do get a bar with a disabled minimize button and a disabled maximize button and a activate close button but nothing more. Is there anyone who has seen this problem before? Or can someone show me how I have to edit the profile file manualy. I now have a basic profile file:

[CONNECTIONS]
enableSingleSignIn = FALSE
LastSigninItemId = 0
LastSigninNodeId = 0
numConnections = 1
Conn_00_Name = Offline
Conn_00_Type = offline
default = 0

[DXSCHED]
HostServer = Offline
ItemId = 0
UserName =

I am wondering what to add to get a connection.... anybody can share the content of their profile file or give me a solution on how to get rid of the not appearing screen problem.

Thanks already!

Regards,
Johan Louwers.

    I did a tail -f on the ocal.log file when opening the gui and trying to set a new connection. I also opened the 'not appearing' screen. This is the result of the ocal.log file of this session. Anybody a clue?
