JDBC Thin Driver must support Serverside Scrollable ResultSets
Oct 16, 2008 12:06 PM
Like DB2 and MSSql, there must be One driver for all with automatic parameter managment.
- Why uses the JDBC driver clientside resultset scrolling ?
- > Oracle is not able to control its own serverside cursors
- Why Oracle offers parameters like prefetch size ?
-> oracle is not able to set a suitable defaultvalue (500! , not 100) with automatic increasement at large resultset
Pse renew the thin driver! Only if theres no need to use the JDBC:OCI bridge you done it well
I have the same question
