    Validation and export errors

    adi26
We just shifted from our development to production servers for HFM, FDM and when we tried to load data using FDM, we got the following errors:

On Validation - it said "Automation Error". However, after this message displayed, the fish did turn to orange. So, I decided to move on anyways and found the following problem on Export:

"Error: Export Failed. Machine profile for machine [machine number - our prod server] is missing."

Anyone know what this problem is about? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

          Hello,

The error message you are receiving is quite evident. It appears your MachineProfiles are not valid.
Ensure that the machine profiles are setup for this new environment and are valid.

The error message is returning to you the exact machine name that is missing from the adapters in the FDM Workbench.

          Thank you.

Make sure all of the machine profiles are updated to Target the new production servers in this production instance of FDM.

              Error: "Automation Error"
This error occurs during Validate stage
Smartview is turned on in Excel on the Application Server

There is an AftValidate script running the Intersection Error report
Excel hasn't been initialized with Initials on the Application Server
If Smartview is turned on in Excel on the Application server, turn it off.
              1.
              Launch Excel
              2.
Go to TOOLS -> ADD-INS -> Uncheck Smartview
If Integration with target system is not setup correctly, check username/password and make sure it's correct.
              1.
              Launch Workbench
              2.
Go to ADAPTOR -> MACHINE PROFILE -> check username and password
