              I have had a similar problem to this in the past.
              It was do with the fact that on win2000 your default home directory
              is documents and settings. The deployer tool seems to have a problem
              with spaces in the path.

              I would try this and see if it works.
              Create another directory off your weblogic installation diretory called
              Deployer

              start the deployer tool with the following command.
              java -Duser.home=d:\weblogic\Deployer -ms24m -mx24m weblogic.EJBDeployerTool

              Change d:\weblogic to your installation directory.

              Re do the deployement work and after you have generated, click on the files
              tag and press
              save. You should see a lot of files being created.
              Re deploy and see if that helps.
