    where to get xqrl.jar

    3004

      Hi,

I'm using the xmlbeans.jar file (downloaded today) in a standalone java application.
I'm trying to execute an xquery using an xml cursor, and I get the following error
      message:

      xmlCursor .execQuery ( "$input//brch@name" )
Target exception: java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: This operation requires
      xqrl.jar

      Where do I get xqrl.jar?

      thanks,

I think you have to download the weblogic platform 8.1 beta...

Then you will find it in BEA_HOME\weblogic81\server\lib\xqrl.jar

          Sincerely,

          Paul Nyheim

            Hi Paul,

Thanks for the answer. A note to whoever is distributing xmlbeans via dev2dev:
If you really want people to use xml beans, it has to be available without downloading
a 300+ MB file. There's no point in posting an incomplete 4-month old implementation
on dev2dev, and forcing people to upload xsds to generate xml beans. If you really
want to give this to the community, do it right.
