I have a user with this problem
Microsoft Visual Basic Error :"Run-time error '53' . File not found: essexcln.xll
BTW, do you have a workbook with some kind of Essbase-related Auto_Open macro or something?

Hi, this is a problem with the environment variables, the solution:
1. PATH variable:
At a command prompt, enter PATH.
The PATH statement that is displayed should include the path of the Essbase bin directory.
For example: C:\>path
2. To check the ARBORPATH variable:
At the command prompt, enter SET.
The list of variables that is displayed should include the ARBORPATH variable, which specifies the path to the Essbase installation. Also check the drive letter, put the appropriate one.
For example: C:\>set ARBORPATH= C:\Hyperion\AnalyticServices
