I know this is old but i just thought id add the information incase anyone else is looking.
This is an issue of the Gateway not being able to authenticate to the LDAP server. I would check if the LDAP Server is working, secondly that the gateway server can access it. Thirdly, that the application user used during setup of LDAP Authentication still exists or its password has not changed.
After you can verify all of that, please restart your servers.
