You don't need to do the Advanced Mode installation but if you don't you will need to do all the SSO configuration in your Oracle Application Server yourself. Have you followed all the required steps as defined in the OBIEE [Deployment Guide|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10415_01/doc/bi.1013/b40058.pdf]?
Thanks for your reply.
yes we followed all the steps given in guide.
1. Created impersonator user.
2. stores credentials.
3. in rpd calll the initilization block in "Execute on connect"
4. changes in instance config file.
Also done all teh configurations in EBS like creating profile etc...
Now when we click on the Oracle BI answers link we got the error stating " you are not looged in ....."
If you have any documnetation for the same can you share with me.
Can you check the Presentation Services log file and NQquery.log? Can you confirm what type of method you are using to pass the user ID and your App Server setup?
Also, do check you presentation server log files. You will get valuable information. As an fyi: you may already know this, this will be generating a cookie on your local machine, which will be used by the BI Presentation server.
Sorry for replying after a long gap. We have implemented SSO successfully.
Thanks to all of you.
However we have 1 more issue that as we logged in to EBS R12 application and then jumps to OBIEE using links on EBS R12 , now how should we redirect back to EBS home page from OBIEE Dashboards in the same SSO environment.

Can anybody please provide me some input how to switch back to EBSR12 from OBIEE in SSO mode in same session.
I am very new to Obiee 11g. I have a requirement to implement SSO between Obiee 18.104.22.168 and EBS R12.1 SSO Integration. Just observed that you were successful.
Could you share some inputs on the sequence of steps to be performed
Hi Tarang jain, kindly share the documentation you followed to implement SSO between OBI and EBS.
Also please mention your versions of OBI, EBS, and what are the environments of OBI, EBS (like linux, AIX etc)
Also are your OBI and EBS applications reside on the same domain ?
Your response is greatly appreciated.
pls update for above details,, Thanks.
What are your environments for EBS and OBIEE , I suggest you open a new theard with your questions to get better response.
