My problem is as follows :
I've created a PL/SQL Page Process called 'FETCH_COOKIE' with
Process Point : On-Load Before Header
Run Process : Once Per Page
The Source Process is :
myCookie := OWA_COOKIE.GET('TWU_COOKIE_TRAQDEV');
:P1_X := myCookie.vals(1);
EXCEPTION WHEN OTHERS THEN
:P1_X := SQLERRM;
Can someone please shed some light on this for me? What am I doing wrong here?
It looks like it's an environmental issue.
I've tested the owa_cookie.get and owa_cookie.send through a different instance of Apex on another server and it seems to work as it's supposed to.
I've informed the system administrator/dba, but at this stage he is unsure of where to start looking. I noticed another OWA package/function - owa_util.print_cgi_env - also fails with a PL/SQL numeric error.
Have you seen this type of behavior before? It seems as if security privileges might be affecting mod_plsql. That being said, the report queries are working fine.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Greg - I really have no clue. Make sure your PL/SQL Web Toolkit is up-to-date:
select owa_util.get_version from dual
..should be 10.1.2.0.6 or higher.
If you like, show your DAD definition here. I don't know if that could be a factor, but it won't hurt to check.
