You are correct
that the calculation in infomaker won't be saved to
the database. There may be a way to work around the
issue. I'd recommend contacting our Customer Support
group to see if there is a way to tackle this. You can

in mind, this kind of thing is not supported and can
be risky especially when upgrading to a new version.
What database are you running against? The syntax will
vary depending on the platform. Post your SQL you use
for the calculation. An alterntative to using a
trigger (and using a Windows scheduled task) would be
to schedule this within the database. I know that
Sybase has something called Events where you can have
this SQL run at specified intervals.
