    FRM-92120-Registry file missing

    614758
      Dear all,
i have 2 middleTier configured as loadbalancer.
from app1 everything works, but if i shutdown app1, when connect to app2 the OAM can open, but if i open a form, i got this error.
      FRM-92120-Registry file http://test.application.com:8070/OA_JAVA/oracle/forms/registry/Registry.dat is missing

the name test.application.com:8070 is a common name for the load balancer.
i checked the file Registry.dat on app2 and it's there.
would you please suggest a solution for this.

      Regards,

            FRM-92120-Registry file http://test.application.com:8070/OA_JAVA/oracle/forms/registry/Registry.dat is missing
Is this the complete error message?

Do you have any proxy settings in your browser? Did you add the application URL to the exception sites list?

The different between the good and the bad were,
the good form call this line 09/05/12 02:50:00.38 formsweb: ListenerServlet init()
and the bad form call this line 09/05/11 03:11:32.440 formsweb: FormsServlet init()

Is there any relevant between these two logfiles???

Please advise how to trouble shoot this form error.

              Regards,

Any FRM-XXXXX errors? Is this the complete error stack message?
Is there any relevant between these two logfiles???
I do not see any different between the two log files (please correct me if I am wrong!).

Can you find any details about the error in the application.log file (under $LOG_HOME/ora/10.1.3/j2ee/forms/forms_<default_group_1> directory)? If not, enable debug and see if this helps.

You may also enable FRD and see if it collects more details about the error.

                  Hi,

BTW, has this ever worked? If yes, what changes have you done recently on the bad tier node? Did you try to run AutoConfig and see if it helps?

                  Regards,

                    Hi Hussein,

This ENV never work before. i think some configuration that i did not do correctly that cause this error.
i do have a working ENV .Would you please advise where to check between the good and the bad ENV.

                    Regards,

                      Hi,

I would suggest you check the value of the parameters in the application context files on both tiers. Also, go through the documents referenced in my previous reply.

                      Regards,
                      Hussein
