You can autocreate approved requistion lines into PO,RFQ and so on.
But as far as the Quotations are concerned they are against the RFQ sent to the Supplier.
quotations are added to the PO via the catalog available on the PO
thats how its done at my company ..we use 12.0.6
But thats time consuming isnt it...the users have to select the catalogue prices one by one...Sometimes we have purchase orders with around 100 items...in thet case the efficiency reduces drastically....
Is that correct?
You can certainly use quotes to autocreate the po.
Just ensure that you have the supplier information on the PO. This can be done either manually or by using Sourcing Rules with MRP/ASCP.
And then enter the Quotes information on the ASL.
Hope this answers your question.
you mean first first he makes an RFQ and then he gets a quoation in return which he ounches in the system manually..and that quotation can be directly autocreated into a PO
Is that what you were trying to say Sandeep
Can I have your email address...So that I can know more about ASL
When you create a CATALOG QUOTATION with some items for a given supplier .Now search for those items on iproc and create a requisition .Then it will be autocreated to a standard PO refrencing the quotation.
