We have a large number of documents that have failed to be indexed properly by SES. If I re-submit the documents to UCM Inbound Refinery then the documents are re-exported by the SES Crawler Export and the SES scheduled crawl pick them up and indexes them correctly.
My question is: how can I get the SES Crawler Export to re-export the documents without having to change them or re-submit them to IBR? The reason I do not want to re-submit them to IBR is that when I do this the release date is updated with the current date - which is not desireable.
There is no way to re-export individual documents. You can re-export the entire collection and perform a complete recrawl from SES, but that's the only option which doesn't change the documents update date.
That's an option within UCM. I can't recall exactly how to do it - and don't have a UCM instance available to me at the moment, but I think you just need to go to the SearchExport component and click on "export".
