      Hi,

I have a Oracel database of version 10.1.0.5 running in Windows 2000 server.
I have done a full export of my database and end up with the following error messages.

      ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
      EXP-00056: ORACLE error 24324 encountered

      ORA-24324: service handle not initialized
      EXP-00056: ORACLE error 24324 encountered
      ORA-24324: service handle not initialized
      EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully

I have gone through the alert log file and identified the following error messages

      Mon Nov 02 06:47:07 2009
      Errors in file d:\oracle\admin\edie09\udump\edie09_ora_3576.trc:

      Mon Nov 02 06:50:06 2009

Can anyone help me to resolve this issues to take a full export backup of the database.
      Thanks.

          Hi,

Check your service and alert log file..after that

          set your oracle_sid ,

first go to login as a sys/sys@orcl as sysdba user..if you can, now go to export the data..

can you post your export command?

          Regards

Thanks a lot for your responses.

                I have done the followings

                2) Changed the directory to ORACLE_HOME/bin
                3) Login to the database with user having sysdba privilege.
                4) In command prompt the following export command has been given

                exp user/pwd@connect_string file=expfilename.dmp log=explogfile.log full=y statistics=none
