Applet oracle/apps/fnd/formsClient/FormsLauncher notinited

Hi,

I am unable to launch forms from one particular client machine.
When I try to launch a form after logging into Oracle Applications, I get this error message at the bottom of my screen.

"Applet oracle/apps/fnd/formsClient/FormsLauncher notinited"

I have reinstalled J2SE and also my proxy settings are fine. But still I am not able to launch forms.

The funny part is, through this client machine, I can launch forms for my Production environment. The problem is only when launching TEST environment (which was cloned couple of days back).

Has anone faced this issue before?

Thanks!

    Hi,

Did you try to clear the browser history and see if this helps?

Also, try accessing the application using a different browser.

If none of the above helps, enable trace as per (Note: 549423.1 - How to enable tracing and logging for Sun JRE (Native Plug-in)) and see if more details about the error are collected in the logs.

    Regards,
    Hussein

    Hi,

I faced the same problem as mentioned in the first post and the solution I was able to figure out was to give the admin rights to the user on local machine and login as administrator and launch the forms from there first and then login back to the normal windows user and then launch the forms from there.

It has worked for me couple of times earlier, so try it out.

    Hi All,

I faced the same problem again and I can add more information to help resolve this problem, if the "FormsLauncher notinited" doesn't get resolved by following the steps mentioned in the previous post then simply go to the control panel > java and clear the cache and this should resolve the problem.

I have the same problem with thread starter, and I've already tried to solve it by user8916413 and user7405115's posts, but it doesn't solve anything.
I tried to login with sysadmin n opened up any form, but it didn't work.
Does anyone has another way to solve it?
    Thanks!

What is your application release? Database version? OS?

What is the complete error message?

Any messages in the Jinitiator/JRE console window?

    Thanks,

    Hi Hussein,

I'm using Oracle Database 11.2.0.2.0, EBS 12.1.2, Solaris.
FormsLauncher.class Not Found Error When Attempting to Access Forms in Applications [ID 291698.1]
Done this, but still the still got the error.
Load: Class Oracle/Apps/Fnd/Formsclient/Formslauncher.Class Not Found. [ID 373736.1]
Formslauncher.Class Not Found When Failing Over Using DNS Round Robin Load Balancing [ID 604040.1]
Can't Launch Forms in E-Business when accessed via VPN: Formslauncher Notinited [ID 471120.1]
Deploying Sun JRE (Native Plug-in) for Windows Clients in Oracle E-Business Suite 11i [ID 290807.1]
    Not suitable with my condition.
Deploying Sun JRE (Native Plug-in) for Windows Clients in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 [ID 393931.1]
    Kinda helped.

FYI, my problem is solved now!

    Actually my prev condition was:
    1. I couldn't run EBS form only in my Test environment using IE.
    2. I couldn't run EBS form in any instance using FF.

I had tried some guidances to solve my problem in IE, but it didn't work.
So, I tried to solve my FF problem n hoping I could run the EBS form in my test environment n it works.

    Some changes that I've made:
    1. Uninstall FF, JDK, JRE.
    2. Install it again.
    3. Open control panel -> Java -> advanced tab -> Default Java for browser -> Check "Mozilla familiy"
    4. Open the EBS using FF.
    5. It works!

After that, I tried to run using IE, and suddenly it works as well.

Thanks Hussein for time and help.

    Regards,

    Rheza
