    Invalid Login Credentials

    673820
I installed XE about a year ago to create an application for a neighbor's charity event. Now it's nearing time to use the application and I cannot remember what I set the password to. I have done searches and tried each of the following all with no luck.

Re: I HAVE INSTALLED ORACLE 10G BUT FORGOT THE ADMIN PASSWORD.
Installed apex successfully but cannot login to apex_admin

I changed the password for sys, system and the flows_xxx passwords using the procedures called for. I do a commit; after each of these changes (not sure if it's required, but I do it anyway). I try to login at 127.0.0.1:8080/apex/apex_admin with sys and system and get invalid login credentials every time.

      Any help would be appreciated.

Reset password for Admin account (admin is internal apex account you can't see it in oracle)
You can reset it via this script apxchpwd.sql (you can find it in Apex install directory)
If you run it you can set new password for Admin user after this go to:
          http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex
          and login

          Workspace: INTERNAL
          User: Admin
          Password: Pass_from_apxchpwd_script

If you login you can go to application user, find them and set new password and unlock account. And now you can login to your application

I have tried running the script already, but I get an error that it cannot be found. I am launching SQLPLUS from the oraclexe directory. I have searched my hard drive and I do not have a script named apxchpwd.sql or any SQL with apx* for that matter. Can I get the script somewhere?

            thanks

Go [http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/index.html] download APEX, unzip and find this script.

I suspect you downloaded the 3.2 version.
The list of users indicates that you have 3.1 installed.

If you look at the apxchpwd.sql script, there's a line like
                    alter session set current_schema = APEX_030200;

Try changing that to APEX_030100 and see if it works. If not, you'll need the apex3.1 zip file.
