The datasource name will be in the MapViewer Config file, assuming you're using a persistent data source. You can check the user_sdo_cached_maps view which will show all map caches setup for that user (schema).
Hi even am facing the same problem,When i checked the user_sdo_cached_maps view "no rows selected " is the response. Did you find the solution if yes please forward it to firstname.lastname@example.org
The data source am working on is mvdemo.demo_map.
The error no is 5501. map tile layer not found.
Am working on a standalone system.
hi even am facing the same problem.
[MVglobalvariables.getmap.cacheconfig]mapviewer-05501:maptile layer not found.check map tile layer name and/or data source name(mvdemo.demo_map)
As suggested by you when i checked the user_sdo_cached_maps no rows selected is the response .please help
Look in the MapViewer Admin console's Manage Map Tile Layers page i.e. host:port/mapviewer/faces/admin/admin_ds.jspx
You should see entries for existing data sources and tile layers like
Name Data Source Base map Zoom levels Internal Tile width Tile height Online
DEMO_MAP MVDEMO DEMO_MAP 10 true 256 256 true
If the data source and map tile layer name combination you're using is not there then one has to be created.
Assuming the base map is defined click on Create to create a new tile layer.
If you're using the mvdemo.dmp sample dataset there are an additional step required after importing the dmp file.
i.e. run mvdemo.sql as the map tile layer instances are created by this script.
Thanks sir, i will check it.
Just downloaded MapViewer Kit for 11.1.1. Trying to locate mvdemo.sql but don't see it. Will te one included in 10.1.3.3 version work for 11.1.1?
The mvdemo.dmp file available from the link labeled
