initiating a BPEL process during weblogic server startup

Hi,

My requirement is to initiate a BPEL process as and when the weblogic server is started and running.
Can we initiate a BPEL process during weblogic server startup time?
i mean can we modify startWebLogic.cmd or stopManagedWebLogic.cmd to call a BPEL process?

Please advice.

Thanks,
Chaitu.

    Hello Chaitu,

I´d solve this by calling the BPEL process from a servlet on a webapp and set the load-on-startup tag on web.xml to 1 eg.: (<load-on-startup>1</load-on-startup>) so the servlet is call as soon as the web-app is deployed, you can also use this with Quartz in case you have a specific time/repetition rule for this BPEL to run, here´s a nice Quartz+Servlet tutorial: http://bit.ly/b84r25
