PL/SQL exception clause: generate SNMP trap

420246Dec 1 2009
Dear Experts,

I read the "Oracle® Enterprise Manager SNMP Support Reference Guide" but didn't find the information I'm looking for; unless I didn't understand what I read which is a possible answer (do not hesitate to say so in that case).

I need to generate an SNMP trap from my PL/SQL exception clause. I'm currently generating an email but the admin guys want to receive a trap in HPOV instead of having to deal also with these emails.

Any hint is as usual greatly appreciated.

BR,
Guillaume
