Biggest Pain Point - Trended Data Exports
The biggest pain point in Infinity for me is exporting trended data by month.
I export a lot of data to Excel from Infinity and many of the reports are designed to reflect monthly trends. I use "month" as the dimension and then add measure columns for the data I need.
The problem is that Infinity sorts by whatever the first measure is, so the months are not in order.
For example, an API request returns:
October - 19
January - 18
March - 15
July - 13
etc.
I have to manually re-sort each table in Excel after I import fresh data from Infinity so that the months are in order from oldest to newest.
If there's a better solution to this problem, please let me know! Otherwise, please consider the ability to export trended data as a future roadmap item.
