"Error occurred while sending email"

Hello,

We could really use some help on this.

We are running Custom Content. All the settings on the email (allow re-send, allow send on exclude etc.) are enabled.

Our Custom Content successfully sends - we get no errors at any stage - but then on the Campaign Canvas we see "an error has occurred while sending this email".

There's absolutely no way that I can see to retrieve an error or troubleshoot this, and we've been working on it for days so could really use some help.

    Hi,

    We think specifically there may be issues when the same contact has multiple executions of the same email within rapid succession.

    I am speculating here - but if Eloqua internally has a staging mechanism, and the same contact has multiple email executions in that same staging batch - it seems to cause an issue.

    Even though all the inputs independently are validated.

    An SR should be submitted to thoroughly investigate the cause of the failure.
