It would be really useful if there were a recycle bin to review recent deletions of contacts or projects such as programs or emails.
Yes, It would be really useful
It would be great to have recycle bin. If they are thinking of storage memory then they can delete all the data from recycle bin once in 7 days or so.
Yes, I think a retention policy would make sense in this case. So you don't have things that you don't need filling up space.
This plus versioning would really help.
Let dream come true soooon
+1 this would be really useful.
Indeed, it will be a great help !
Eloqua will not let you delete any emails (and probably contacts) that are already in an active canvas, however this is a great idea especially if you have multiple emails that need sorting out and an accident is made this could be a life saver (or time saver!)
Yes it will very helpful, if they are thinking about the storage memory, they can set the rule to recycle bin for maximum of 10 days after the data will be deleted.
We are also looking for such a feature. It would be greatly helpful to have the feature to get deleted data for a certain period of time.
This would be fantastic.
This is good point, but need to restrict it time/size to have less impact on the application
This functionality shouldn't be limited to standard Eloqua objects either. Ability to retrieve CDO records would be useful too.
Will be very helpful,
This is a great idea !!!
Yes it will very helpful if we can restore them if needed later
@I would not limit recycle to any specific asset. All items should be sent to a client recycle bin where they can sit for 14-30 days then auto deleted. Anything less is is unacceptable in my mind. I have this as a function for our CRM Salesforce. Heck, even Microsoft does it.
You used to be able to archive in E9 from memory. Wonder if that old piece of scripting is still living somewhere in E10 that could be brought back to life!
Agree this would be very useful.
My fellow Eloqua users, we have solved for this!! We have an application that not only can restore deleted assets but it can track versions and changes of assets(Campaigns, emails, programs, landing pages, forms, etc..) so you no longer have to create duplicates or backups. This app also lets notate, preview and roll back to any previous version. Eloqua Apps | Accelerithm
We have the only suite of Eloqua Governance applications in the exchange, as well as the process consulting to support the transformation needed.
Feel free to call me with questions or for a demo today!!

The way to restrict it is to externalize it, log the changes in the app cloud and only keep the most current copy in the instance. While retaining the ability to roll back as needed and on the fly. Check out Eloqua Apps | Accelerithm
Versioning of assets along with recovery of previous versions and deleted assets in now available through an app called Asset Version Control. This app has been certified by Oracle and is available on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace (Eloqua Applications | Accelerithm)
That would be cool!
Your link is broken.
Can't Eloqua have the option without installing a 3rd party app?
