Add ICS back to E10

In E9, you had to ability to create an ICS directly within the system. This was great when we did campaigns to promote events and webinars. With E10, you are not able to do this and the process is manual which is taking more time than it did in E9. Would love to have this functionality back in E10.

One of our partners have developed an App that does this https://cloud.oracle.com/marketplace/listing/3327929?_afrLoop=299839256565840&_afrWindowMode=0&_afrWindowId=na1j8bxwk_1

While the functionality might still be available in the Eloqua core.

I'm sorry but that APP is a rort, who in earth is going to pay US$2,000 annually. I can create .ics files for FREE in 10 seconds on my Mac and upload them. Restoring the E9 functionality is the smart option.

I guess if the events are just a few, you can use external tool such as Addvent.com or AddToCalendar.com, but of course having an integrated app would be easier.

Great Idea.

@Thamina Christensen-Oracle this is what I was referring to when I spoke to you at MME after @Stephen Streich-Oracle's presentation. The code is still there in E9, just need E10 to take advantage of it.

With apologies to the app author who is charging for this (who can blame them), this simple should be part of the core product, similar to other MAPs.

$2K is the setup fee. It costs an additional $6K per year to use the app. This really should be part of Eloqua at no extra cost.

It is basic feature and it should be added for sure...we run so many webinars /events and manage registration / reminder emails via Eloqua and we need to depend on manually created ICS files.
