Oracle Eloqua: Insight Reporting on Custom Objects
Sometimes, you’ll need to store separate kinds of data in Eloqua. Not everything can be stored in the contact record. You might need to capture purchase history or event attendance for example – and that data needs to be tied to someone. Think of your bank account. You may have a Savings, Checking, and maybe a Money Market account. All these accounts are tied together under your name, but they are separate. This is what Custom Objects allow you to do. Custom Objects store data in Eloqua that are not part of your Contact Records. They are sometimes also referred to as Data Cards.
The focus of this course is to build an Insight Analysis on the custom objects.
