What are Badges?

Badges are a way of displaying your knowledge and expertise. You collect badges when you contribute to the community—whether it’s through posting questions, commenting on other members posts, or submitting great ideas. You also get badges in recognition of helping other community members or participating in events.

Badges are displayed on your user profile as you earn them.

Why don’t I see the badge in my profile, even though I’ve met the criteria for earning a badge?

As of now, Photogenic, Anniversary, Conversationalist, Problem Solver, Popularity, and Thinker badges are awarded instantly after the criteria is met. Most other badges are awarded on a monthly basis. If you think you should get a badge but you don’t see it in your profile within this timeframe, please drop us an email and we will look into it.
