Dividend payments to shareholders cannot be handled from Payables. You may want to use External Transactions or Adhoc Payments functionality in Cash Management to record such outflows.

Hi Vinutha,
Can you please explain why shareholders can't be opened in AP as third party (supplier)? Then dividend payment may be made against invoices.
We also need to include withholding tax of 10% on dividend payment to shareholders. Where can we do this?

If the requirement is to apply withholding tax too, then yes you can create shareholders as suppliers & create invoices to pay the dividends.
