Fixed Assets-Alternate depreciation

edited Jul 13, 2021 2:03AM in Ask A Guru 2 comments

Hi There

How do I generate a fixed asset report which shows forecasted depreciation showing the alternate depreciation method and not the accounting depreciation for an asset?

For example, I have an asset which is set up as 10% depreciation straight line as its accounting method.

However, this has tax depreciation of 5% diminishing value.

I would like to run a report that shows all assets' forecasted tax depreciation instead of accounting depreciation.

I have approx 300 assets with 50 odd tax depreciation methods so do not want to run an asset report for each individual tax depreciation method (the drop down for depreciation method doesn't allow multi select in the fixed asset report parameters)

Howdy, Stranger!
