I was wanting to know whether the following is possible before I start looking into the mechanics of how to achieve this:
I have an invoice with inventory items on it.
The account uses the warranty and repair management native Netsuite module.
This means that when the invoice is saved, a warranty registration is created for the quantity ordered of the line item.
For example, if the invoice is for 97 laptops, a warranty registration is created for 97 laptops.
The issue here is that not all 97 will be fulfilled. If there are only 90 items in stock, only these will be fulfilled and the 7 will be placed on back order.
