AE: Resolve Error: "The prefix "o" for element "o:p" is not bound"

I am printing a value from rich text custom field in advanced pdf layout and getting below error

"The prefix "o" for element "o:p" is not bound


As per Answer Id: 103038. i have to Remove <o:p>, </o:p>, <font>, and </font> tags

Is there any way I can escape special characters from the custom field ? Is there any freemarker builtin?
