Electronic Bank Payments Bundle Update causing Consolidated Customer Payment Error

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:28PM in Ask A Guru 2 comments

Scenario: AR team is accepting customer payment. Payment is accepted under parent and applied to subcustomers (Parent/Child) in NetSuite Customer Payment screen. Upon saving the payment record the screen reloads with the following error.

The amount paid value of the installment has changed because of another transaction. Create a new payment.

We do have Consolidated Payments enabled in Enable Features. Installments are used on invoice transaction

The error dialog screen started appearing on 4/18 during business hours

We have checked for Upgrades, Maintenance, Workflows, Scripts changed surrounding the 4/18 time frame.

The only item we found that changed was an Electronic Bank Payment Bundle (416781). Managed update on 4/18/2022 5:52 am (Central)
