profit and loss report Custom segment drill down

We have customized the subjected standard report and added a custom segment called subaccount. subaccount consisted of Parent and child values.

Drill down and grouping is not working on custom segment subaccount

i some have come across this kind of issue please revert back with the fix and any guidelines showing how to achieve this
