Error > The merge of entity was blocked for the following reasons: it has associated sub-customers
Hello.
While trying to merge customers, we received this error - "The merge of the entity '<entity name>' was blocked for the following reasons: it has associated sub-customers."
Anyone know a work around for merging two customers with either both or one of the customers having sub-customers? Manually removing the sub-customers then re-attaching them to the new parent is a non-starter as we have so many of them. Thought of running a mass update to change the parent to the master before merging but that is equally a daunting manual exercise.
Would appreciate if anyone has a work around or suggestion for this kind of issue.
