How to Inactivate Employee Error?

Hi Guru's. It's me again. 😊 I am trying to inactivate an employee and get this error. I am not deleting, just inactivating the record because it was set up under the wrong subsidiary. Does anyone know why I get this error? I even tried to just remove access and get the same error.

The system cannot process changes of the entity-subsidiary relationships because of the following: - You cannot delete a subsidiary that has associated transactions.
