How to show statement_date on Multi-Currency Statement Advanced PDF/HTML template?

On the Print Individual Statement page of a Customer, there is a statement date field. This field has the internalID of statement_date

I want to use this field in the Multi-Currency Statement Advanced PDF/HTML template. But again i'm having issues getting the field to work.

${statement_date} gives me the following error.

This is similar to the other problem I have with Custom fields in the Statement template. (How to add custom fields on the Statement PDF templates — Oracle NetSuite Support Community)

How can I get the Statement date to work in the Multi-Currency Advanced PDF/HTML template?
