Web Site Duplicate Email Management feature does not work
According to this documentation:
Now that I have enabled the feature, then Attempting to register a new user on our SuiteCommerce web site should fail if the following are true:
- The existing customer has the same email address as the one attempting to register.
- The existing and new customer both have the same Subsidiary (I'm not sure how the feature would know the subsidiary of the new customer though, since it is not selectable, just has a default and is probably not set yet at the registration page.
There's a 3rd criterion but I'm unclear on its meaning; Does it mean that the new registration will still work if the existing customer doesn't already have Web Store access? If that's the case then maybe that's why it's not helping us to prevent duplicate lead creation.
