Target Depreciation Date in FAM

What is the Target Depreciation Date on the Fixed Asset Record? If I am restarting depreciation, do I update the Target Depreciation Date or the Last Depreciation Date to prevent catch up depreciation entries for the time is was set to depreciation = FALSE?
