MRP > Auto Calculate Safety Stock

When Replenishment Method is MRP/MPS, if I tick the Auto-Calculate, only the Location Lead Time is disabled, I was wondering if the Location Safety Stock will be auto-calculated by the system? Is there a way for the system to auto-calculate the Location Safety Stock?
