ATP Lead Time - Default 90 Days

Does anyone know why our system might be setting the ATP Lead Time on every inventory item to 90 days? We believe we've checked all default settings and don't see any for ATP Lead Time. Is 90 days a native default that can't be changed? If yes, we'd at least like to know that before we setup a workflow or script to set it to a new number.
