Suiteapprovals - Is this expected or is this a defect?
I have been using Suiteapprovals for several years now. It was brought to my attention last week that when an approver leaves the company, and rules that used them are inactivated and replaced with new rules- reapprovals follow the inactive rules.
For Example:
Approval rule requires reapproval on any dollar value edits to the PO.
An approved PO is edited to add freight. Triggers re-approval. When the PO routes for reapproval, it is following the Approval rule that originally approved the PO, even though that rule is inactive.
I've been wrestling with NetSuite support over this. My boss (me too) is insistent that this is a defect - while support is telling me this is as designed.
