Importing Sales Orders with Lot Numbered Assembly Items that are Special Work Order Items
Hello,
I’m working on designing a CSV import template for Sales Orders that include lot-numbered assembly items configured as Special Work Order items. These items do not yet have assigned lot numbers, as inventory has not been built.
During testing, I’ve run into an issue: when importing a lot-numbered assembly item that does have available inventory, NetSuite requires a lot number to be specified. However, if I attempt to provide a lot number for items that do not yet exist in inventory, the import fails with an error because the lot number has not been created in the system.
