Help Troubleshooting Strange Expense Report Issue
We have a customise Financial Controller role that we have been using for 7 years (based on the default Financial Controller role, but obviously with other things added over time).
This role has 'Restrict Time and Expenses' unticked so that the finance team can process expense claims.
The issue we see is that the users cannot open any expense reports. No error or indication of what the problem is, the browser just 'spins' for ever. The can see the list of all the expense reports (for all users), but they can't open / edit them.
The first month end after 2026.1 this started happening. I removed some of the new features added in 2026.1, but that made no difference. I had added some restrictions to Subsidiaries before 2026.1 (I couldn't remember if that was before or after the previous month end) - so I gave the role access back to all Subsidiaries, and the problem was resolved.
