Quote multiple customers without "closed lost"

Hello, I have an interesting scenario I'm not sure the best way to handle.

Right now lets say we are selling 200k of product to a customer. We will quote that to say 5 distributors. One distributor gives us the best rate and we sell them the product - technically a win in our book. However when looking at reports, it now looks like we lost the other 4 quotes (800k).

Similarly we have a customer who wants several options. We create a quote for each option and ultimately they pick one. This again results in a loss according to reports even though really only 1 was ever going to be selected.
