Adding an item in itemlist for existing Invoice

I have an existing Invoice that I want to add a comment line to. I want to insert a comment at the end of the itemlist. I am using C#. I remember seeing an article that address updating / adding item sublist, but for the life of me, I cannot find the article. If anyone can give me a sample code, or point me to an article, I would be eternally appreciative.
