LinkedIn integration

Hi

Bit of a newbie with integration as have only pulled data from eventbrite. I am looking to pull basic info from a linkedin record to compare the data to the contact record in Netsuite.

So am looking to write a script that when a user clicks a button in netsuite from a contact record it pulls the data from the matching open record in linkedin (which has alread been found) and pulls the data from linkedin to compare to the netsuite data.

Any pointers as to where and how to start this would be great. Thank you.
