Customer Log Event feature 2020.2

On a Customer Record there are new (since 2020.2) buttons on the Activity Tab

New Event button is ideally used to enter an Event scheduled on a future or today's date while Log Event button is used to record an Event for tracking purposes only.

There is a difference in the behavior of the New Event and Log Event.

We use Events to Track Time spent with a Customer.

The New Event>Time Tracking>New Time feature auto-populates the Customer:Project field.

The Log Event>Time Tracking>New Time does not auto-populate the Customer:Project field.
